Incorporated in 1912, New Eagle is a close-knit community, and
many families have lived here for generations.
One of the borough's most famous locations is Yesterday's Best,
which was featured on national television and is home of the Peanut
Festival each summer.
Our recreational facilities include the Morton Street playground,
which includes a ball field and soccer field. In addition, we
have river access available at the Howard Street boat ramp. Located
next to the boat ramp is Tubby Hall Park, which can be rented
for picnics, family reunions, etc. The New Eagle Community Action
Group holds flea markets and dances at the park also. The Beach
Club Marina, located within the borough, is the largest marina
on the Monongahela River.
We are located close to several major highways and about one
hour from the Pittsburgh International Airport. Our major industries
include: Thermo-Rock Inc., and Maple Creek Mining, Inc.
If you are looking for a small, quiet and friendly community
to raise your family, New Eagle is the place. Come and get to
know us!
